Band Bio's
Less than 5 years ago a band was started in LaPlata MD.
The Band practiced in the empty bedroom of the Singer and Guitarist's house.
They played small shows at friends houses, and in the high school Auditorium.
When they said they were going to be rockstars almost everybody laughed,
but they are pretty close now and nobody's laughing.
This is Good Charlotte.
Name: Joel
Aka: Sickboy
Instrument: Vocals
Date of Birth: March 11, 1979
About: Sickboy's got a flare that is remniscent of the late Elvis Presley. In the begining he seemed uncomfortable behind the mic, almost as if he was naked without an instrument to hide behind, but over the past year he has developed his stage prescence. His rad voice is often compared to Steven Jenkins of 3rd Eye Blind and Billy Joe of Green Day. He puts on one hell of a performance!

Aka: Kid Vicious
Instrument: Guitar & backing vocals
Date of Birth: March 11, 1979 (yes they are twins)
About: They don't call him Kid Vicious for nothing! This guy can rip through any song with ferocious intensity, often proved by the many things he breaks through out a show. Deriving his name from the late great Sid Vicious he doesn't letcha down, his guitar playing has all the attitude of our hero. But he's not all bad boy, He and Sickboy collaborate to put forth those heartfelt GC songs.
Name: Billy
Aka: Lil Billy
Instrument: Guitar & backing vocals
About: Lil Billy is the newest member of Good Charlotte but don't be fooled, he fits into the mix as though he was there from the begining. Lil Billy rocks out with the best of them. You'd think coming from a band like OVERFLOW this would be a big transition for Lil Billy, but so far he has blended his sound into GC. Instead of altering the power-pop beauty he enhances it.
Name: Paul
Aka: St. Paul
Instrument: Bass
About: In the past St. Paul took a place near the far corner of the stage and would play as though he didn't even know an audience existed (genius is never understood). But in more recent months he seems to have made a place in his heart for the audience. But wether he acknowledges us or not he is consistant in his display of fine rock bassistry (is that word?). Putting forth solid bass lines and a ton of energy!
Name: Aaron
Aka: Sicky B
Instrument: Drums
About: Are there words to describe the flawless performances of Sicky B? This guy is a powerhouse of amazing drumming ability. Being that drummers are the center of energy for the band (like a battery) it's a good thing that Sicky B is the battery of GC....he just doesn't stop! I personally have never heard Sicky B miss a beat.
Name: Kelley
Instrument: TECH GOD
About: Even though Kelley is not technically in the band, in my heart he is. He is always ready for when the unexpected happens (well with Kid Vicious it's not so unexpected). With out Kelley the band is seemingly lost when something goes wrong (ex: recent show at The Metro:). On top of being so ready willing and able Kelley is always so much fun to be around! I had to show some recognition for all the hard work that Kelley does....just wanted to show some love:)
